 relief campaign

The Stewart Satellite of Feeding Children International...

was started in April of 2003 to enable everyone in the surrounding area and outstate Minnesota to participate in packaging food for starving children.  With the leadership of  Feeding Children International in New Hope, MN., we are able to enhance their Kids Against Hunger Campaign by adding a mobile packaging unit.  This mobility enables us to offer the opportunity of producing the fully nutritious meal supplement to anyone or any community.  Our mobile unit volunteers will transport the supplies and ingredients needed to any location within 50 miles (or more) of Stewart, MN.

In the upcoming year we hope to achieve our goal of producing 1,000,000 meals and help other organizations or communities start their own satellites.  To reach this goal we feel we need to package food in other towns each week of the year.  We need an individual or group of people in each community who would be willing to be a catalyst for us.  If you belong to a civic organization, church or youth group and have a passion for serving others and want to get a packaging event started in your community, call us at 320-833-5328.

What a privilege and honor it is to be able to meet so many generous and caring people.  We have asked and you have responded.  Packaging events have taken place in Stewart, Lester Prairie, New Germany, Hector, Hutchinson, Granite Falls, St. Cloud, Buffalo Lake and soon to be more.  Seeing communities come together for the betterment of mankind is truly a blessing.  Kids Against Hunger not only nourishes hungry children but the spirit of its volunteers.
